Day one consisted of removing the old cylinder, disconnecting the old ‘Ideal Mexico’ boiler and a good blast through the system with the power-flusher, amongst swapping some radiators.
We then had to halt work while the nice asbestos removal men have done their magic.
Hhere’s the finished product. An Ideal Vogue 40kw boiler, it comes with an unbeatable 10 year warranty and an impressive 16+ litres per minute of hot water.
To protect the system from getting dirty in the future we have also included a magnetic filter that we can clean on the boilers annual service. Future proof. With it’s vertical flue terminating through the roof there is no need for it to he on an external wall and it fits great in the airing cupboard giving our customer much more space for storage, while making a drastic saving on his gas bills for the future.
